Accompanying your licence when you receive it will be a licence schedule. This lists what bands, types and modes of transmission and powers limits that you are licensed to use.
You do NOT need to memorise the licence schedule, but you must be confident in finding you way around the schedule so that you can find out whether you can operate on a specific frequency or not. A copy of the schedule will be included in the Foundation Licence Assessment, and you can expect to be asked questions on both the 20m and 2m schedules.
